Austria | | |
Cold and snowy weather hit Austria over the weekend. Many resorts have received up to 30cm since last week.
Hintertux (135cm) has excellent conditions. The conditions have been boosted by the fresh snow that fell at the end of last week and by the cold temperature across the region. 44km of pistes are available for skiing on Monday.
Obergurgl (20/120cm) has received nearly 40cm of snow since our last report on Thursday. Thirteen lifts are open on Monday morning and this gives access to 45km of great skiing on fantastic snow. You can currently ski down to the mid station. A cold week with light snow is forecast and then the snow should turn heavier towards the end of the week.
The Stubai Glacier at Neustift (10/90cm) has seventeen lifts open on Monday and 44km of open pistes. The fresh snow that fell last week combined with cold temperatures this week ensures fantastic conditions up on the glacier. The cold weather is forecast to continue throughout the week and then heavy snow is forecast as we head towards the weekend.

France | | |
Tignes (10/70cm) is still the only French resort that we report on currently open. They were closed due to poor weather on Thursday last week but are open on Monday. They have ten lifts open on the Grande Motte Glacier and it is fairly cold so the snow is in good condition. Heavy snow is forecast towards the end of the week.

Flims/Laax (0/80cm) was scheduled to open on 15th November but they are not open on Monday. More snow is needed and this will hopefully fall towards the end of this week.

Livigno (25/105cm) enjoyed a good opening weekend with lovely sunny weather. Monday is also sunny and they have four lifts in operation. 10km of open pistes are available to ski on, which should be very pleasant in the sunshine. Light snow is forecast through the week and by the weekend the snowfalls should turn very heavy and temperatures are likely to drop further.
Bormio (0/110cm) is offering one run from Bormio 3000 down to Bormio 2500 on Monday. Snow cover on the run is good and their snow making facilities are helping to keep it in good condition. Heavy snow is forecast for the end of the week and temperatures are set to drop considerably.
Cervinia (30/195cm) is enjoying a very sunny day on Monday. They have been able to open some pistes down to Plan Maison which is fantastic. The week ahead should be mainly dry with some light snow possible on Tuesday. From Friday onwards heavy snow is forecast and temperatures look set to drop considerably.
